Afriware Books, Co. is a Black-owned literary and culture hub that’s been repping our heritage since 1993. What started as a mobile/online bookstore out of Oak Park, Illinois, quickly became a full-fledged resource center for anyone looking to connect with Black history, literature, and culture. On their virtual (and pop-up) shelves you’ll find powerful works on African history, civil-rights classics, modern Black authors, children’s books that celebrate Black joy and identity — plus art, gifts, and culturally rooted goods.
