African American Women of Indiana (AAWI) is a community-built powerhouse created to uplift, connect, and empower Black women across the state. What started as a small circle of women supporting each other in Westfield grew into a statewide movement rooted in sisterhood, leadership, and real-life impact. AAWI hosts workshops, wellness events, networking mixers, service projects, and cultural gatherings that create space for women to feel seen, supported, and celebrated. Their mission is simple: build stronger women, build stronger families, and strengthen the communities we live in.

Over the years, AAWI has become a trusted bridge for resources, mentorship, and opportunities—especially for women balancing careers, motherhood, entrepreneurship, and everything in between. Whether they’re offering mental-health support, spotlighting local businesses, or helping young girls find their voice, AAWI shows up with intention. This is a group that doesn’t just talk empowerment; they live it through action, connection, and consistent community love.
